Ancient and medieval Armenian city excavated by an Armenian-Artsakh team 2005-2020 in the foothills above the Khachenchay valley. Came under Azerbaijani control after the 2020 war. Caucasus Heritage Watch reports indicate the on-site museum has been damaged and excavation trenches infilled.
