Principal Armenian Apostolic church of Erzurum (Karin), seat of the local primate. Building is documented in late-Ottoman photographs and in the Russian Imperial Caucasian Calendar of 1915. The Armenian community of Erzurum, approximately 25,000-30,000, was deported in May-June 1915; the cathedral was demolished in the inter-war period. No standing structure today.
