Treaty of Sèvres

Allied peace with the defeated Ottoman Empire, signed at Sèvres on 10 August 1920. Articles 88–93 recognised Armenia as a free and independent state and committed signatories to a binding arbitration of the Armenia–Turkey frontier by U.S. President Wilson. Never ratified; superseded by Lausanne after the Turkish nationalist victory.
